About

Sdigehya Carter is a senior healthcare operations executive with nearly 20 years of experience leading behavioral health, addiction treatment and mental health organizations across outpatient, inpatient and residential settings. She leads The Recovery Village South Atlanta as Site CEO.

Previously, Sdigehya held leadership roles at New Season, Behavioral Health Group Recovery, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, where she partnered with executive leadership, managed complex programs, expanded access to care and improved patient safety and quality outcomes. Her expertise includes enterprise operations, P&L management, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and change management within highly regulated healthcare environments.

She holds a Bachelor of Science from York College (CUNY). She is an active volunteer with Hands on Atlanta and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, reflecting her commitment to mental health advocacy, governance and community engagement.
