David Castillo is a dedicated healthcare leader and advocate for patient-centered care, currently serving as the Director of Nursing at The Recovery Village South Atlanta. In this role, he ensures that individuals receive high-quality, evidence-based treatment tailored to their unique needs. Through compassionate support, effective communication, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, David is committed to empowering patients in their recovery journey while upholding the highest standards of care, safety, and ethical practice.
A California native, David honorably served nine years on active duty in the United States Army, embodying the values of service and leadership. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army Nurse Corps. Rising to the rank of Captain, he served as Chief Nursing Officer for an inpatient psychiatric mental health unit and a residential treatment facility at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.
Continuing his dedication to military service, Captain Castillo currently serves in the Georgia Army National Guard as an Emergency Room Nurse in Marietta, Georgia. His extensive experience in both military and civilian healthcare settings positions him as a compassionate leader committed to excellence in nursing and patient advocacy.
